Rates are negotiable. The rates you see here are meant to provide are very rough estimation of what to expect.

I do not charge by the hour. Instead, after evaluating the project, I provide a quote, which does not change unless the project itself changes. Depending on the complexity of the project, a website can cost from $300 to $600. The more complex websites may cost more. Most websites take about 25+ hours.

Quotes are available. Discounts available for non-profit websites.

Why do I charge less than most web designers and web design companies?

Most web designers and companies target big businesses and companies that are looking for complex websites that includes, usually, custom database integration (i.e. usnername/password login, e-commerce).

However, I design websites for small businesses who want a professional online presence, but are not looking for the complex functionality of those huge companies (e.g. Amazon.Com). Of course, I do offer limited database integration, but not on the same scale as other web design companies.

As a result, I do not charge as much as my competitors. I believe people who are not in need for such complex functionality can and should have a place on the world wide web. Moreover, this shouldn't be out of their reach; that is where I come in.

What do I mean by it depends my complexity of the project?

Complexity depends on design (i.e. the preliminary sketch), number of pages, and most importantly, the requested features.

I can provide features, such as a e-commerce (complete with shopping cart and order processing), photo album, message board, or newsletter sign-up. Some features are more complicated to implement than others.

Note: Domain name and web hosting are not included. Together, these cost about $60/year. I will set both up for you as part of my services.
